Summary

Distinct membranous and cytoplasmic staining was observed in fractions of cases in most adenocarcinomas. Malignant cells in general were weakly stained or negative.Moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity was observed in breast cancers while several cases of endometrial, ovaria renal and embryonal carcinomas of testis displayed strong luminal membrane staining. Nuclear positivity was occasionally observed in liver, lung, breast and renal cancers. Remaining malignancies were mainly negative. Most malignancies showed strong cytoplasmic positivity with additional membranous immunoreactivity. Hepatocellular cancer were mainly negative.
