Detected at High or Medium expression level in 43 of 78 analyzed normal tissue cell types.

Protein expression

Cytoplasmic staining of strong intensity was observed in hepatocytes, syncytiotrophoblasts of placenta and in several glandular epithelial cells, mainly of the gastro-intestinal tract. The positivity was often accompanied with membranous staining. Squamous epithelia showed immunoreactivity only in basal cell layers. Endothelial cells and adipose tissue displayed distinct staining. Lymphoid tissues and cells of CNS were in general faintly stained or negative.
