Summary

Most malignancies were weakly stained or negative. Liver cancers and many prostate cancers displayed strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Most malignant cells displayed moderate cytoplasmic positivity occasionally combined with nucleolar staining. Hepatocellular carcinomas and occasional cases of breast, colorectal and prostate cancers showed strong cytoplasmic staining. Most malignancies showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity with a granular pattern. A majority of liver cancers were strongly stained. Skin cancer and malignant carcinoids were negative.
