Summary

Distinct cytoplasmic and membranous positivity was observed in subsets of cells in cases of squamous cell carcinomas. Remaining malignant cells were generally negative. Most of the malignant cells displayed moderate membranous positivity often with additional cytoplasmic staining. A few cases of breast, ovarian, colorectal and prostate cancers were strongly stained. Malignant gliomas and lymphomas, embryonal and renal cancers were weakly stained or negative. Most malignant cells showed weak to moderate positivity. Several cases of pancreatic cancers were strongly stained. Malignant gliomas, lymphomas and melanomas, endometrial, ovarian and colorectal cancers were in general negative.
