Summary

A majority of malignancies showed moderate to strong membranous positivity. Malignant lymphomas, melanomas, testicular and renal cancers were weakly stained or negative. Many malignancies showed big variation in expression with negative, weak, moderate and strong samples within the same tumor type. Malignancies showed similar staining pattern as found in normal cells. Strong membranous staining found in many adenocarcinomas of e.g. colo-rectal, breast, prostate, cervix and endometrium. Gliomas were also mainly strong positive. Lymphomas, melanomas, testis and renal carcinomas were mainly negative. Cytoplasmic staining was also found in many samples but seems to be overstaining in most cases. Most malignant tissues displayed moderate to strong membranous immunoreactivity. Malignant lymphomas, testicular cancers and stomach cancers were mainly negative.
