Summary

Strong nuclear immunoreactivity, often accompanied with weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining, was observed in cervical and ovarian cancers and in embryonal carcinomas of testis. In squamous cell carcinomas, keratinized parts were strongly stained. Some endometrial cancers displayed additional membranous positivity. Most other tumors were weakly or moderately stained in cytoplasm or nuclei. Most malignant cells were negative or displayed weak nuclear immunoreactivity. Strong staining was observed in testicular cancers and in rare cases of head & neck-, lung- and liver cancers.
