Summary

A majority of malignant cells showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity with a granular or dot-like pattern. Most squamous cell carcinomas were negative.Strong cytoplasmic staining in most malignant gliomas, head & neck, thyroid, colorectal and liver cancers. Several cases of malignant melanomas, ovarian, endometrial and pancreatic cancers showed strong staining. Remaining malignancies showed moderate staining.
