Summary

Most malignant tissues displayed weak staining or were negative. Malignant carcinoids and gliomas displayed moderate or strong cytoplasmic positivity in a majority of cases. Distinct staining was also observed in a few cases of malignant lymphomas, renal and liver cancers. Most malignancies were negative except occasional cases, for example in colorectal and breast carcinomas, which showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining.
