Summary

A majority of malignant tissues were negative. Weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining was observed in a few malignant carcinoids, renal- and endometrial cancers and in rare tumors of colon, ovarium and cervix. A few cases of malignant carcinoids showed strong cytoplasmic positivity while several cervical and hepatocellular carcinomas displayed moderate cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Remaining malignancies were weakly stained or negative.
